I stopped updating this website when I started working at Naperville Central High School in 2019 so some of the information here may be broken or out of date. Yorkville High School students have a unique opportunity in the state of Illinois. Very few schools in the state even offer computer science courses, let alone have an entire department dedicated to computer science. In fact, only 10% of high schools in the country offer at least one computer science class (Gallup) and Yorkville has several computer science classes.
Since computer science is typically the top-paying college degree you can earn (Forbes), and the field is growing at an incredible rate, why not try out a computer science course in high school to see if it's something that interests you?
